Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 1981, specialising in Criminal, Family and Child Care Law.

He joined Johnson & Gaunt as a Partner in 1990.

Chris is on both the Court Duty Solicitor Scheme and the Police Station Duty Solicitor Scheme.  He specialises in Criminal Defence Work and regularly attends Police Stations and Courts in Thames Valley and the Midlands.  He undertakes a wide range of criminal cases as a Defence Advocate throughout the range of offences from road traffic law to murder.

Chris also heads the Firm's Family Law Department having advised and represented clients in all aspects of divorce, separation and allied family matters over a period of twenty five years.
