It would appear that a large volume of e-mails have been sent out in the name of one of the Partners in this Firm - Christopher Edwards - advising the recipients that they have inherited a large sum of money from the above (probably fictitious) person.

We must inform you that this has absolutely nothing to do with Christopher Edwards or with anybody else in this Firm.

We have further been asked to advise that this also has nothing to do with Christopher Edwards who is a Barrister at Old Square Chambers,
10-11 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4BU.

This is, in all probability, a scam aimed at eliciting personal information in order to commit identity fraud and we would strongly advise anybody in receipt of such a request to ignore it and, if felt necessary, pass it on to the appropriate authorities.
