Children Law Department Secretary Vacancy – Now Filled

We are looking for a new legal secretary to join our very busy Children Law department due to an upcoming departure.
We have a very strong and well established reputation in this field. The role is in support of a very experienced Solicitor advocate and his case manager and will predominantly involve:
- Diary management
- Fast, accurate typing
- Accurate file management
- Managing incoming and outgoing emails and time recording and assigning them on the IT system
- Transcription of Court applications, statements, briefs to Counsel and letters of instruction to experts
- Opening new files on the IT system
- Preparation of Notices of Acting and Notices of Issue of Legal Aid
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally in Family Law
- Experience in audio typing
- The ability to work on their own initiative and prioritise your workload
- The ability to prioritise
- A good telephone manner

Family Solicitor/Legal Executive – Now filled

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Family lawyer to join our team in Banbury. Excellent client care skills are of paramount importance. You will be ambitious and motivated and will take over an existing caseload with the goal of expanding and developing the privately funded work in the department. You will have a willingness to become pro-actively involved with marketing and with generating new business for the Firm as a whole in addition to your own department. We anticipate that a minimum 5 yrs PQE will be necessary although we will consider candidates with appropriate skills and experience.
The majority of the caseload will be privately funded family matters such as divorce, relationship breakdown, finances and private children law. In addition there will be some Legally Aided family matters.

Experienced Residential and Commercial Property Solicitor – Now filled

We are a long established high street practice based in North Oxfordshire and we are looking for an ambitious and experienced residential and commercial property fee earner to join the team. You will be 4yrs PQE or over and be looking to progress to a senior position in the next 3-5 years. This is a full time position in our office in Banbury.
You will be working on a caseload of residential and commercial property, managing your own caseload of sale and purchase matters, including leasehold, buy to let, new builds and shared ownership. A key feature of the role will be actively developing new and existing relationships.
The ideal candidate will also have full experience of commercial property and small business transactions along with purchase/sale transactions and leases and be comfortable running a busy caseload from inception to completion.
